Jake: New online and telephone services will help parents and families in Rossendale and Darwen
Jake has welcomed an £11 million investment in new online and telephone services which will help to support parents and families.
The Government is providing funding to eleven voluntary and community organisations to deliver a range of support including relationship advice, advice on educational issues and services tailored specifically for fathers.
Jake said:
‘Every parent across the country can benefit from these services and I welcome the Government’s decision to trust organisations with a proven track record in supporting families to deliver them.
Online and telephone support will give families in Rossendale and Darwen the help they need, when they need it, without interfering in family life.’
Local councillor Lynda Barnes said:
‘This is fantastic news for both voluntary organisations and residents that rely on their services. It is good to see central Government providing this level of support for local communities such as Rossendale.’
