Jake Berry MP to represent East Lancashire at Federation for Small Businesses Annual Conference
Jake Berry, MP for Rossendale and Darwen, will be heading to Liverpool on Saturday to take questions from attendees at the Federation for Small Business’ (FSB) annual conference. He will be there representing the interests of both East Lancashire small businesses and the Government.
Mr Berry, a strong supporter of small businesses in the constituency, will sit on a panel of MPs including Brian Binley, Gordon Birtwistle and Luciana Berger, answering questions on various aspects of business and the economy.
Jake Berry commented: “I am really looking forward to outlining the government’s plans for growth and its support for small businesses. As David Cameron has stated we will take on the "enemies of enterprise" and put ourselves firmly on the side of "go-getters" embodied by small businesses.
The conference will also provide a great opportunity for me to highlight the resilience of businesses in Rossendale and Darwen to the recession and draw attention to the innovation and skill of the local workforce.”
