Jake Berry MP to attend Jack Ross Accountants’ Business Network Breakfast
Jake Berry, MP for Rossendale and Darwen, will attend a breakfast meeting on Friday to be hosted by Umar Memmon of Jack Ross Accountants. A number of local businesses will be attending the meeting which will consider the effects of Wednesday’s Budget on the economy.
Jake Berry commented: “The meeting should offer the local business community a useful networking opportunity and a chance to raise any questions they might have about the 2011 Budget. The Government’s plans for growth and its support for small businesses were clearly set out at the Spring Conference and the Budget will provide a more detailed framework for how it will achieve these aims."
"David Cameron has established our goal tackling the "enemies of enterprise" and put the Government firmly on the side of "go-getters" embodied by small businesses. I have also pressed the Chancellor, George Osborne, to include Rossendale and Darwen within one of the newly proposed enterprise zones. The Business Network Breakfast meeting will be a great forum for me to discuss these matters with local Rossendale and Darwen businesses as they seek to put the recession behind them.”
