I am honoured to be writing this letter from the Houses of Parliament as your new MP for Rossendale and Darwen. At a time of great uncertainty for our country, it has been really humbling to be given the trust of local people to represent them at Westminster.

At a time of great uncertainty for our country, it has been really humbling to be given the trust of local people to represent them at Westminster. I would like to thank everyone who took the time and effort to cast their vote for me in last Thursday’s General Election. I would also like to thank the many volunteers who helped in my election campaign since my selection as your prospective Conservative MP over three and half years ago. As your new MP for Rossendale and Darwen, I will work hard for every resident regardless of their political persuasion. It is a privilege to be given the opportunity to serve you as your MP. In order to repay you for the trust you have put in me, I will in return always strive to do my best, to be open and honest and I will not let you down. Jake Berry MP
